Frequently Asked Questions
Smartproxy rotating proxies are a type of proxy that can rotate through multiple IP addresses and mask their location, making them difficult to block or track. Each IP is residential and has a unique address. Back connected nodes allow users to access thousands of IPs in a specific region.
Rotating proxies assign a new IP address for every connection. Each time it connects, the proxy server will have a different IP address so that no firewall or NAT router blocks it. Proxy rotation can be automated, which can save time and effort. It also reduces the risk of being blocked by an ISP or network administrator.
There are two ways to filter out the right pool of proxies.
• Create an API request with Smartproxy rotating proxy’s API and filter out the appropriate pools through it.
• Search for “Smartproxy rotating proxies” in Google and narrow down your search results based on your needs and requirements.
Step 1: Register for a new account at smartproxy.com.
Step 2: After registration, gain access to the Smartproxy dashboard. The first thing that will pop up is the pricing tab.
Step 3: Choose the preferred pricing option to access the pool of available proxies and get started.
Step 4: Use the proxy dashboard to manage the users, passwords, and traffic limits.
Step 5: Click the Endpoint tab to decide between a rotating or a sticky session.
Step 6: Pick an exact location, or choose a random location, so proxies don’t run in a specific country or region.
Smartproxy no longer offers free trials due to past abuses. Instead, SmartProxy has a 3-day money-back option with all its proxy subscriptions. Users have full access to all the features and can request a refund if they’re unhappy with the services.
The refund policy comes with certain conditions:
• Smartproxy will refund the money only if requested within the first three days.
• The user will only receive their money back if they directly contact Smartproxy.
• Crypto payments are not refundable.
• Users should not have used more than 20% of their plan traffic during the first three days.
It takes five business days to process approved refunds.
Users can change their subscription plan at any time.
Step 1: Sign in to the Smartproxy dashboard and click Manage Subscription Plans.
Step 2: Click Change Plan from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Choose one of the subscription options from the menu and click Change Plan.
The new plan will become effective post the current billing cycle.
