What is MinerGate?
MinerGate was created in 2014 by a group of cryptocurrency enthusiasts and is the largest multi-currency mining pool with over 45 million miners worldwide. The downloadable mining program allows you to mine multiple cryptocurrencies without managing any hardware. MinerGate has a built-in wallet to safely store mined cryptocurrencies, and an exchange tool to swap your mined coins for other currencies.
You can access the mining pools using their desktop software program, mobile app, or cloud mining service. MinerGate does not charge any fees upfront, you're only charged on mined coins. It also has a native antivirus tool that protects your computer from malware while you're mining.
MinerGate is an open platform with an easy-to-use interface, making it ideal for anyone interested in crypto mining on a budget.
How does MinerGate work?
MinerGate offers powerful functionality, allowing users to choose the coins they wish to collect, making it the most profitable mining pool right now. You can mine various cryptocurrencies using your computer's CPU or GPU and purchase cloud mining contracts to mine on MinerGate's behalf.
All you have to do is download the software program and start extracting coins instantly without investment.
Merged mining allows the mining of two or more cryptocurrencies simultaneously on the same algorithm without reducing your hash rate or rewards. MinerGate also offers “Smart Mining” that automatically selects the most profitable cryptocurrency to mine based on the current market conditions. Smart mining allows you to maximize profits while having full control over your mining operations.
MinerGate has a handy calculator to calculate mining profit in various currencies before mining any coin and features a four currency algorithm tab. Estimated amounts are calculated based on zero percent shares and current pool fees.
How to use MinerGate?
You first have to register your account on the MinerGate website and verify your email address. Then configure two-factor authentication (2FA) and use the calculator to assess the mining profitability. You then have to download and install the software application and pick the type of reward system (PPS or PPLNS) before you start mining.
How to withdraw from MinerGate?
MinerGate withdrawals are done using Freewallet. Go to the MinerGate dashboard, click “Withdraw” from the "Currency" tab. Fill in the “You send” field, click “Enter Email’ and fill in all the fields.
Key in the “Verification Code” and click “Withdraw” once again to complete the process.
How to confirm balance in MinerGate?
MinerGate has three types of balances: total mined, unconfirmed, and confirmed. Total mined is the sum of all the mined coins. Unconfirmed balance is your mined coins awaiting confirmation. These coins are confirmed once they reach the confirmation threshold and get added to the current withdrawable balance. This process is called balance confirmation.
All your balance information can be accessed by clicking the “Transactions” tab on the MinerGate dashboard.
